Christchurch: It has overcome health problems, former New Zealand Chris Cairns Chris Cairns on Saturday revealed that he had been diagnosed with intestinal cancer.
The 51-year-old had undergone four open heart surgery but left paralyzed by a spinal stroke at the operating table five months ago.
He lives in the Canberra University hospital in a special rehabilitation facility.
