Former Secretary of Kerala Chair and Author C P Nair Died 81

Thiruvananthapuram: Former bureaucrat and writer-columnist, Chellappan Paramesiswaran Nair died after a heart stop in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday.
Nair 81 inhaled the last at his residence.
The former Chief Secretary of Kerala is known as C P Nair.
The 1962 Batch IAS officer, Nair has retired as the Secretary of the South State Head in 1998.
Known for extraordinary administrative capabilities, sharp intelligence and funny writing style, he is very active in the socio-cultural arena and state literature.
Even after retiring.
He holds a significant position like a district collector, home secretary, labor secretary and Commissioner Travancore Devaswom council during his duty for decades as a civil servant.
Nair also serves as a member of the Administrative Reform Commission and towards the Government Panel, which was formed to rewrite the Post-Pension Law and Kerala Education and Rules.
A award-winning writer and columnist, C P Nair wrote several books including “Thakil”, “Uganda Malayalam”, “Lankayil Ora Maruthi” and so on and the work of “Irukalimoottakal” has won the Kerala Sahithya award in the Academy.
He survived his wife Saraswathy and two children.
People from various layers of society including ministers and political leaders posted the death of the former bureaucrat.
Death Pondoling Nair, Head of Pinarayayu Minister Vijayan remembered as a leading bureaucrat and author.
“The service as the Head of Secretary and Administration of the Commission member of the Commission is not worth noting,” he added that Nair could contribute valuable to the field of the literature as well.
