Washington: Colin Powell, Secretary of the First Minister of Black Military and Military Minister, died on Monday at the age of 84 of Covid-19 complications, his family said in a statement.
“He is fully vaccinated.
We would like to thank the medical staff at Walter Reed Medical Medical Center for their care.
We have lost their husbands, fathers, grandparents and amazing Americans,” said the Powell family in his Facebook page.
As a four-star Army General, he was the head of the head of the military together under Bush President George HW during the 1991 Gulf War where US-led troops expelled the Iraqi forces from the adjacent Kuwait.
Powell, a moderate repeach and a pragmatic, then served as Secretary of State under President George W.
Bush.
