Former supporters of HM Deshmukh observed ‘Black Diwali’ in 18 places

Nagpur: Supporters of former Minister of Maharashtra Anil Deshmukh on Friday observed ‘times (black) Diwali’ and performed ‘Rasta Roko’ (blocking traffic) in 18 places in the constituency of the Katol Assembly to protest the arrest of senior NCP leaders by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) Earlier this week in the case of money laundering.

“Development activities initiated by our ministers are now in backburners.

In Katol, agitation has kicked the next day of Deshmukh’s arrest.
According to former Vice President Katol Panchayat Samiti, Anup Kharade, protests held in 58 villages, followed by similar agitation in 33 other villages.
“People from at least 20 villages join the ‘Aamhi Sahebanchya Drive’ in Katol Taluka,” Kharade said.
“By respecting the court and agency, this type of magician-motivated hunting shows our democracy in a bad light,” Kharade said while warning that agitation would immediately intensify.
NCP Leader Narghed Artade said that in Jalalkheda, Bharsesi, Belona, ​​Devgram, Sawarmaon, Bishnoor and demonstrations of other small villages were performed at the local level.
“The protest is peaceful.
The social media platform is widely used,” said NCP leader.
