LONDON: The former Wolf midfielder Ron Flowers, a member of the 1966 British World Cup winner troop, has died at the age of 87, the Premier League club announced on Friday.
Interest was played for clubs between 1952 and 1967 and helped them win three top titles and FA Cup.
“We are very sad to announce through the legend of the club and Vice President of Ron,” Wolves said in a statement on their website, describing it as “a giant in the field and a man stopped”.
