Paris: Amelie Mauresmo’s former former woman on Thursday called the French Director Open, replacing a forgotten man.
Mauresmo will be in place up to at least 2024, said President of the French Tennis Federation Gilles Moretton.
The winner of the grand slam twice (Australia Open and Wimbledon in 2006) and the 2004 Olympic silver medalist in Athens, the 42-year-old Mauresmo revealed his “pride” at the director of Roland Garros, the Claycourt Premier tournament in the world’s main income source and the federation.
Forget, who has happened since 2016 and also oversees the Paris Masters since 2012, approaching the end of his contract but refused potential offers, according to Moretton.
