Sabeer Bhatia, Hotmail Co-Founder, returned with the new social video messaging application.
Called Showreel, this application is intended to enable work and uphill opportunities for job seekers throughout the world.
How do Phayreel work? With showreel, job seekers will be able to create professional videos about themselves in response to questions caused by mentors or recruitment companies.
The application then sew this response together to make a professional showreel.
Accompanying real life scenarios, these questions will help people seek cross professional, personal, leadership, and entrepreneurial growth guidelines to prepare and improve themselves.
This application plans to have a partner company on a ship to solve the recruitment challenges.
Showreel will make a video that looks professional that allows job seekers to market themselves and land their dream work.
Available on the Play Store (iOS) and Google Play (Android), the Showreel is onboarding several top recruiters, according to press releases.
Bhatia calls it pursuing driven technology.
“This pursuit begins with connecting millions of people on the border with Hotmail and today find realization with Phayreel,” he said.
Back in the 90s, Bhatia was a technological boy’s poster when he began Hotmail in 1996.
Microsoft then paid around $ 400 million to acquire Hotmail.
Speaking more about his latest business, Bhatia said that the showreel aims to bring alive conversations and encourage real value for job seekers and companies.
“Imagine having the best resources you have and access to the best company to find the most suitable work and at the other end of the opportunity to simplify your recruitment process with video resumes,” he said.
He further said that the showreel would use AI to analyze the data collected and encourage insight that can be followed up for the audience.
“When we grow, we will empower people with conversations and opportunities that go beyond work and fend off,” Bhatia added.
