Nagpur: Four people, including the owner of the Anusaya Mangal Sabhagruha, has been captured by Nandanvan police in the case of an elevator accident, where the 16-year-old Sakan Sahu was killed last week.
Hall managers and labor contractors have also been arrested.
Senior Inspector of the Nagral Kishor from Police Station Nandanvan said the owner of the hall, Jayashree and Sanjay Kale, was arrested along with the manager of Dinesh Pilley and Kanhaiyya Patel’s labor contractor.
Nandanvan’s sources of police said four were then released as a violation in which they were ordered to be proven including 304 A from the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
The owner of the previous hall said the Sahu had stepped into a life that was only intended for goods and not human transportation.
A warning board is also inserted into the elevator.
Sahu, working with the catering team, died after an injury while traveling at the elevator escorted several equipment last week.
He rushed to a private hospital where the doctors had declared him dead.
Police Nandanvan has registered an accidental case of death but then changed the case into a criminal violation that secured the owners of the hall, manager and hard workers or contracting catering responsible for causing negligence.
