Coimbatore: Four men were arrested on Saturday night because they had 53 recreational pills.
Police said the youth sold pills for Rs 200 while they got a 10 tablet strip with only Rs 54.
“They used to filter tablets in sterile water.
And inject it,” said a police officer.
He identified the defendant as Mohamed Yasar, 20, Mohamed Mustafa, 30, (both Karumbangatai residents), Muthu Mohamed, 24 and Mohammed Mustafa, 26 (both Athupalayam residents).
They were ordered under the 8 (c) section read with 22 (b) narcotics and sources of psychotropic (NDPS).
