New Delhi: Delhi police have arrested four cyber fraudsters related to the 126 cyber-fraud incidents in 16 states, officials inform Sunday.
According to police Delhi, they have postponed people with more than RS 1.1 Crore on behalf of offering iconic food brand dealers to high-scale entrepreneurs.
The fraudsters create many websites and offer franchise publishing to people.
“A business aspiran, Rishika Garg, found a website that offered food dealers.
Soon, he connected with the website and completed the documentation process to buy a franchise.
During a two-month period, he paid around Rs 11.74 lakh..
Then, then, He again asked to pay Rs 1.6 lakh and realized that he was cheated by these fraudsters, “Delhi police said.
Furthermore, the police told Rishika submitted a case and the Cypad unit took an investigation.
During the investigation process, it was found that fraudsters used several bank accounts and a large number of fake SIM cards used in more than 36 smartphones to deceive people in different countries in India.
The Cypad team conducted an investigation in various places in India including Bihar, Haryana, Punjab, and Delhi.

The four defendants promoted a website with Google ads.
The police began capturing cyber fraudsters on August 27 and still investigating others.
