Four Discom Gujarat in National Ranking

Vadodara: Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (GUVNL) The four discoms have come out at the peak in the ninth integrated annual rating conducted by the Union Minister of Power.
Uttar Gujarat VIJ Company Ltd.
(UGVCL), Madhya Gujarat VIJ Company Ltd (MGVCL), Dakshin Gujarat VIJ Company Ltd.
(DGVCL) and Paschim Gujarat VIJ Company Ltd.
(PGVCL) has secured four first position at the national level with the highest rank.

Integrated annual rating report was launched by R K Singh, minister of power and renewable energy on Friday.
The rating was conducted to evaluate the performance of the state power distribution utility based on various parameters including AT & C losses, cost efficiency, financial performance, sustainability, regulation, reform and government support.
This year 41 utilities from 22 countries are assessed among which the government of the fourth gujarat discoms get a + rating.
