Jammu: Four family members were feared dead after the car where they traveled rolled into the river in the J & K distribution district on Monday.
The accident took place near Mehar Bekt in Row.
SSP Sway Pd Nitya said, “One car was fast, driven by Rakesh Kumar from Paloura at Jammu, accompanied by his wife Asha Rani and son of Sachit Bhagat and Mehul Bhagat, met with accidents near Mehar in the Raw District.
As per witness, the driver sances Arriving lost control of the vehicle and plunged into the river.
The team from the district police, the fast reaction team (QRT) and J & KDRF (Force Response Disaster) rushed to the place and launched a massive search and rescue operation but both cars and passengers can be found.
