Rajkot: Four people, including historyships, were ordered in arms law to fire at least four rounds in the air in two crowded market places in the city of Manglol on Tuesday night.
Two defendants were identified as Ishant aka Motiyo Bhikha Joshi, indigenous Mangrol and Rizwan alias Hello.
The other two have not been identified.
The police said the reason behind the shot was unknown.
According to the police, the four who were accused of arriving riding two motorbikes and Ishant fired two rounds in the air first at the Chowk limda and then two in the Chowk bus-stand, from the state-made pistol.
Allegations fled after firing shots in the air, police said.
Ishant, who currently lives in Rajkot, is a historysheter ordered for murder, attempted murder and intimidation, at various police stations in Rajkot.
Mangrol police have restored used cartridges from places accused of firing shots and also collected CCTV recordings from market places.
A pine against four accused was submitted at the Mangrol police station under the ACT ARMS and the relevant parts of the Indian Criminal Code (IPC).
