New Delhi: The day after a SUV driver was injured in the shooting reported in the Southwest Delhi Kishangarh area, Delhi police specifically said on Tuesday they had arrested four members of Majah Mahjeet Gang from Dwarka for their involvement in this case.
The police said that the incident occurred around 1pm when the victim, Shafiq, and two others – Somraj and Krishan – returned home in their SUV after attending the hearing of the murder case of 2020.
Somraj, who was a complainant in this case, was one of the suspects in The 2020 murder case where a Ashok Maan was killed.
The attackers tried to kill Somraj but missed the target and Shafiq, who drove a vehicle, was injured, said an officer.
When the SUV reached Kishangarh, it was intercepted by the defendant and a total of four rounds fired in a place where Shafiq received an injury at his temple and his hands.
Somraj sat next to the driver’s seat and Krish in the back seat.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) Sanjeev Kumar Yadav said that they arrested Abhishek Malik (26), Wazir (26), Annu Gilodia (22) and Kapil Kumar (24) based on information.
“Three sophisticated pistols, 75 live cartridges, three empty cartridges and ID cards from one Harender Maan have recovered from them,” said DCP Yadav.
Malik revealed that expensive and Ashok Maan was a very close friend and in February 2020, Somraj with his colleagues allegedly committed Manan’s murder.
Since then, Harender Maan (Ashok Maan’s nephew) wants revenge from Somraj.
“Expensive has directed his gang members to eliminate Somraj.
Before the incident, they recce the Somraj route.
On Monday, they received a tip-off of the Movement of Somraj and then began shooting at the car,” the officer said.
Describing the fourth profile of the defendant, an officer said Malik was previously shot by one Rohit after a fight.
The bullet was still in his body.
For revenge, he joined the expensive gang.
“Vishir has helped other colleagues in the escape of Gangster Vikash Dalal from police detainees in Faridabad in 2018.
Kumar and Gilodia came into contact with Malik through their general friends and began working with him,” the officer said.
