New Delhi: Delhi police on Sunday claimed to have arrested four Gogi Gang members from Rohini.
The police said that they had stopped the gang war by making arrests.
Police identified the defendant as Sumit (25), Kunal (25), Karan Hans (22) and Suraj Kumar (25).
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Rohini) Pranav Tayal said that the police first arrested Sumit and Kumar.
This duo traveled on a stolen motorcycle in Helipad Road in Rohini, on the way to carry out a robbery and carry weapons.
“Their question led to the other two arrests from Rohini Sector-34,” he said.
Officers took three advanced pistols and 18 cartridges of life from the defendant.
Police said that they had formed a team that collected details of several criminals involved in robbery, grabbing and firearm’s incident.
The police said Sumit came out with a guarantee in the murder case.
“Sumit revealed that he, together with his colleagues, was involved in Deepak’s murder at the Rohit Gangster alias Moi,” the officer said.
Police said the defendant planned further activities in Delhi and timely actions by the police, along with weapons recovery, thwarting their plans.
