Four government dept has not fully integrated the system

Thiruvananthapuram: Although the Covid-19 pandemic gives a big boost to digitize in all sectors, including in the government, as many as four government departments are entirely and 45 departments have not integrated their system into the e-treasury system, where all government remittances can be carried out online.
The e-treasury system is a total solution to facilitate any digital money transaction modes in the government.
It facilitates government revenues online all the time that offers NetBanking services from 64 banks, debit card and credit card, UPI, Postal Code Bharat.
Treasury Director Am Jafar, in his letter to the addition of the Head of the Chief (Finance) of Rajesh Kumar Singh (accessed by TOI), has reported that even though this full payment gateway for delivery of money is available and despite the efforts of the department, all departments and government offered offices Service through them cannot be resolved so far.
Furthermore said that in the case of 45 departments, they have enabled e-treasury facilities for a particular office or for limited services, while four departments have not been linked to e-treasury at all.
In addition to being a payment gateway, e-Treasury also offers facilities for department heads to review and monitor online income collection through offices under their control.
“The Ministry of Finance has asked all department heads many times and issued a letter to all secretaries who request personal intervention in this matter.
Regardless of this effort, this department can only connect 46 departments fully in e-treasury,” said the letter.
The four departments that have not yet connected their services with the e-Treasury system (on July 1) include self-engineering wings, ports, state planning council and urban.
The department that only completes a partial link includes education, food, safety, health services, women’s and child development, taxes, etc., where there are several public utility services involved.
While the department such as land income (which has connected 1,762 of 1,771 offices in e-treasury) has almost finished this exercise, most of the departments out of some resolved have completed even less than 50% offices with the system.
At the same time, 46 departments have integrated all remittances to the government entirely into the e-treasury system.
Treasury director also asked the government to provide a strict direction for all department heads to ensure that their services are related to e-treasury within a certain time limit.
Based on the demand for the State Treasury, the Ministry of Finance has issued a circular asking all heads of the department to complete the earliest procedure.
