Gandhinagar: It’s no secret that people from Dry Gujarat routinely circular holes in the Union (UT) area side by side with the country.
Their sojourn will be more friendly when the four state villages side by side in UT Dadra and Nagar Haveli at the southern end of Gujarat and some of the land close to UT in the Saurashtra coastline will be included within the boundaries of the United States.
One of the big implications is that liquor will be freely available in these fields located in Gujarat dry until now.
This step is expected to provide Fillip to the tourism of liquor and recreation even when Gujarat is firmly maintained his decision to continue the ban.
Four villages of Kaprada Taluka from the Valsad district in South Gujarat which tend to be a part of the neighbor UT is Meghval, Nagar, Raymal and Madhuban.
On Saurashtra beach, part of Goghala Village, will be submitted to UT from DIU.
The Conditional Ministry of Union has decided to include the merger of four Valsad villages to Dadra and Nagar Haveli and part of Ghoghala Village in Gujarat to UT from DIU.
The formal ratification of the decision is likely at the meeting of the Western Council Standing Committee scheduled to be held on January 28 in Goa, the top sources said.
Main officials said, “Meghval Village was fully surrounded by the Union region while the other three villages fell between the Dam Reservoir Madhuban and Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
In the rainy season most of the areas in these villages were submerged and the only access point they remained through the region United.
There are long-delayed requests and suggestions to combine the four Gujarat villages to the United area.
This will increase tourism activities in villages and work.
