Four killed, 8 injured in Bast at the Sivakasi firecrackers; Hunting for the owner

New Delhi: Four people were killed and eight others were injured in the explosion at the firecrackers in the Sivakasi Tamil Nadu on Saturday morning.
The accident took place at 9 am in one of the RKVM fireworks warehouses.
Wounded people rushed to the civil servant hospital.
Probes show that chemical reactions occur during mixing materials in the chemical charging warehouse from the magazine making unit, which leads to the explosion.
Five warehouses were destroyed while most warehouses were partly damaged in the fire.
Twenty-one firefighters took more than two hours to control the flames.
“We faced difficulties in recovering the remains of the fourth victim who were destroyed from the bottom of the rubble …” said the Sivakasi Fire Extinguisher.
Two injured have been referred to the Rajaji Government Hospital, Madurai.
Police Nathampatti ordered Valividu Murugan’s factory owner under the relevant IPC section.
