BeIRUT: Two civilians were among the four people who were killed by Israeli strikes on Wednesday targeting the Syrian part where loyal fighters on Hizbullah based, said the monitor.
Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, an UK-based group that relies on sources in the field, said Israeli missiles crashed into the area near three villages in the West Province of Homs.
Raid killed four people, including two civilians, said war monitor, although it could not determine whether two other deaths were civilians or soldiers.
The official Syrian news agency, quoted a military official, said two civilians had been killed and seven people were injured in the attack carried out at dawn.
“Israeli) aggression resulted in the deaths of two civilians and injured six soldiers and one civilian,” said the military official.
Strikes targets the position in the middle of the country, he said, without providing more details about the location.
