Patna: Four people with two criminal antecedents were arrested with arms and ammunition from Bhagwatipur Village under the Shahpur Police Station area in West Patna Friday night because of their alleged involvement in the murder of Jewelry Mantu Kumar Gupta (40) in her shop in Bihta Baru- This new one.
Those who were arrested were identified as Deepak Jha Shiva Mor, Arun Sharma from Badi Khagaul Devi, Vishal Kumar aka Alok Rajdumpur in Shahpur and Pankaj Kumar from Adamar in Danapur.
They were late 20’s.
The police also restored two copilemade pistols, four live cartridges and three bicycles used in crimes from their ownership.
Gupta was sitting in his shop named Maa Vindhyawasini’s jewelry when six criminals came on three bikes and shot him dead on August 10.
The iron locker was closed after that they shot the owner died while hurrying looting.
SSP said at least two were accused again, which came from Bihta, had not been arrested in this case.
He said Vishal was accused of two criminal cases registered at the Shahpur police station and one with the Biht police station.
He said Deepak was also accused of the case of Dacoity, robbery, ownership of illegal weapons and smuggling of liquor registered at Bihta Police Station, Shahpur and Dighha.
