Washington: Four people were shot outside the Nationals Park, a professional baseball stadium in the Columbia District, on Saturday night, police said.
The district metropolitan police department previously said on Twitter that two people where shots outside the national park.
Then it was said in the follow-up tweet that “two additional victims related to the incident walked to the hospital area for the treatment of gunshot wounds.” The baseball games that have taken place between residents of Washington and the San Diego Padres are suspended as a result of shootings.
Play is expected to be continued on Sunday.
