Jamshedpur: Management Lucknow-based paint company filed a case against four employees who collect them by cheating the company of Rs 56 Lakh.
Mohan Cat, a company based in Lucknow, had filed a case in this regard and the police have completed their investigation.
The fourth accused has not been arrested.
Mastermind of the four accused reportedly was an employee identified as Vimlesh Pathak, who has been working for several years in charge of the Company depot in Adityapur.
According to the report, Pathak recruited three other employees – Jitendra JHA, Sarvesh Kumar and Ved Pandey – for the depot.
As part of their plan to cheat the paint company, Pathak floating dubious company, JP Enterprises, in partnership with JHA in 2017.
The company then began to purchase goods from the paint.
Sources said the company grew suspicious after JP outstanding payments for purchases amounting to Rs 56 lakh and after inquiry, it was found that the company was owned by Pathak and JHA.
An official Mohan Cat said, “Registration GST from JP Enterprises has confirmed that it is owned by Pathak and JHA.
We have approached the Court of Chief Hakimial Judge in Seraikela Kharsawan in 2020, tried to file a FIR against four employees.” The court then directed Adityapur police to filed a case against four below 406, 420, 323, 408, 341, 506, 379, 467, 120 (B) and 34 IPC.
AdyityApur Police officer-in-charge Rajendra Prasad said, “our investigation is over and a chargesheet will appear soon.” He added that none of the defendants were arrested so far.
