Hyderabad: Four Teachers from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are among 44 teachers presented by the National Teacher Award by President of RAM Nath Kovind on Sunday on the occasion of Teacher’s Day.

The Ministry of Education provides a national award to teachers every year to celebrate the unique contributions of some of the best teachers in the country and to respect the teachers through their commitment and hard work not only improve the quality of school education but also enrich their students’ lives.
The award is given to the best state teachers chosen through the transparent online selection process.
Each recipient receives a medal along with a certificate of recognition and RS 25,000 cash price.
