Four Terrorists Jaih Arrested, Big Attack Avoided

Jammu: A big terror attack was avoided at Jammu and Kashmir with the arrest of four Jaish-e-Mohammad (JEM) terrorists, claimed by the police, planning to plant an IED based in the vehicle before August 15.
Those who were arrested were also involved in collecting the consignment of weapons that fell and conveyed the same thing to active terrorists in Kashmir Valley, in addition to reconnecting important targets in other parts of the country, Adgp (JAMMU zone) Mukesh Singh on Saturday.
The first ultra jem captured in this chain was Muntazir Manzoor aka Saifullah from Prichoo in the Pulwama District of South Kashmir, from whom the police recovered a gun, one magazine, eight direct rounds and two Chinese hand grenades.
The truck used to transport weapons to Kashmir Valley was also confiscated, Adgp said.
Furthermore, other Jem affiliates – Ijahar Khan from Mirdan Mohalla in Shamli District Uttar Pradesh – arrested.
Ijahar revealed that a Jaish commander in Pakistan with the name Muntazir aka Shahid asked him to collect weapons dropped by a drone from near Amritsar.
“Jaish also assigned Ijahar with the reconnaissance of the Panipat oil refinery, which he did and sent a video to Pakistan,” Adgp Singh said.
“Two other terrorists – Teopef Ahmed Shah aka Pharket and Adnan, both from J & K’s Shopdian – asked to reset Ayodhya Ram Janmabhoomi, but they were arrested before they could complete the task,” Adgp said.
Teopeef was asked to get a used motorcycle for use for an Eid explosion at Jammu, Singh said, added, “Ied for this purpose must be dropped by the drone.
Topeef was arrested before he could finish this task.” Jahangir Ahmed Bhat from Bandzoo at Pulwama is a JEM terrorist Fourth captured in this case.
“A fruit trader from Kashmir, Jahangir continues to be related to Shahid in Pakistan and has introduced Ijahar to him.
Jahangir also conducts recruitment for clothing in Kashmir Valley and throughout the country,” Adgp said, added that further investigation into the ongoing terror module.
