Letter: The police arrested four people including two women for allegedly thrashing tribal migrant workers in public views in Tatithaiya from the limit of the GIDC Kadodara Police Station and also to cut her hair.
According to the police, one of the defendants has doubts about the victim having an affair with her husband who took him to public insults with the help of others.
The incident video became a viral on social media.
Police arrested Sakanti Masaniya, Gauravi Ramu, Kailash Mevada and Vinod Mishra to struggle, intentional insults, criminal intimidation among other charges.
The complaint was submitted by a 19-year-old worker from Madhya Pradesh who came to Tatithiai to find work.
In his complaint, the victim accused him of being in rented accommodation when accused of coming there and began to ask about her husband while accepting him having an affair with him and began to abuse him.
Then, a woman who was accused of attracted the victim from her house and took her to the road where she began to berate her because of the alleged error in front of a clothing store at Soni Park.
The defendant beat him when his other hand, Mevada, reached the place and handed over the scissors to Masaniya to cut the victim’s hair.
While ramper holding the victim, Masaniya cut hair while the fourth hand, Mishra, threatened to kill the victim if he had more business with anyone.
“The police registered a violation and immediately arrested the defendant.
The woman targeted the victim because of suspicion,” said a police officer at the Kadodara Gidc Police Station.
The defendant will be produced in court on Saturday.
