Letter: Four of the nine people accused of forced religious repentance in the Bharuch District villages were arrested late on Tuesday night.
Complaints against nine people were submitted after a man converted with the lure of a good job filed a complaint with the Amod police station.
Introduction investigations have revealed that around 100 people from around 35 families are converted with money persuasion.
The investigation of this case was handed over to the Deputy Supervisor of Police MP Bhojani.
Police Arrested Abdul Aziz Patel Alias Ajit Chaganbhai Vasava, Yusuf Jivanbhai Patel aka Mahendra Jivanbhai Vasava, Ayub Barkatbhai Patel aka Raman Barkatbhai Vasava and Ibrahim Punabhai Patel aka Punabhai Vasava, All Indigenous People Village Kankaria Bharuch.
Their interrogation revealed that they received money from other accused people they used to lure other villagers for repentance.
Converted family children also started their studies at the nearest Darul Uloom.
The family was also taken to mass prayer on Friday, police officials said.
Two Accused – Salamuddin Sheikh and Umar Gautam – Against who Vadodara Special Operation Group (SOG) has registered the case on August 24 will also be questioned if needed to ascertain whether they are involved in Religious Religion Racquet Bharuch.
Gautam and Shaikh are currently nesting in Vadodara prison.
Police sources said the racket was operated in a very organized manner and the defendant had advised money and facilities planned to attract people to repentance.
The police also investigated routes through which funds were sent from abroad.
Many people who repent are not ready to give a police statement.
The person captured is those who are directly connected with people and play a major role in attracting villagers.
Vadodara SOG has told Bharuch’s colleagues after they registered a case against Salauddin, a guardian who manages the trust in Aafmi Amari and Mohammad Umar Gautam on August 24.
Abdullah Fefdawala, a native population of Nabipur Village in Bharuch and London Resident in England, has allegedly sent RS 80 Crore to Salauddin through FCRA and Hawala.
Sheikh used this money to finance conversions, build a mosque in the target area and helped defendant Nabbed during a demonstration against CAA and NRC in Delhi to get a guarantee.
