Coimbatore: Tirupur City Police arrested four young men on Tuesday because they cut off the garment unit employees.
The police also restored the head of the young man who was cut off – M Sathish, 25, from Melaiyur in the Mayiladuthurai district – from the trash in the city.
The arrest was identified as M RAMKumar RAM, 25, from Kallanai Village in Madurai Regency, S R Sathishkumar, 24, from Thevaram in Theni Regency.
The four young men worked in various garment units and lived in various parts of Tirupur Regency.
Sathish and his friend, Danjith, 20, from Thiruvanaikovil near Musiri in the Trichy district, worked at a embroidery company at KNP Colony in Serangadu and lived in a company room.
On Sunday night, the duo went to the open in Serangadu to consume liquor.
Ramkumar, Subhaprakash, Manikandan and Sathishkumar, who consumed liquor there, watched Sathish and Ranjith who were new in the area.
“The four young men and duos are under the influence of alcohol.
The four young men asked the duo and grabbed Ranjith’s cellphone.
Ranjith defeated one of the gang members and escaped.
However, the four young men took Satis under their control and asked him to contact Ranjith by telephone.
Sathish contacted Ranjith by telephone and asked him to visit the open when he was stored under a gang prisoner, “said Commissioner of the City of Tirupur Police AG Babu.
Ranjith returned to the open.
The four young man stabbed him with a pen knife.
Ranjith pushed the young men down and managed to escape.
Then, he was treated at Tirupur Government Medical College and Hospital.
“After Ranjith fled, the young men said by saying, who were under their detention, for the bushes where they killed him and decided his head.
The youth escaped from a place on two motorbikes.

The defendant was arrested.
