Four was held for kidnapping and attacking students

Thiruvananthapuram: Police Nedumangad on Thursday recorded the arrest of four men involved in alleged 18-year-old kidnapping and attacks in Azhikode.
The police identified the defendant as Sulfi, 42, and his brother Suneer, 39, Pathamcallu, Ayoob, 43, from Pathamcallu and Shajahan, 56, from Irumba near Aruvikkara.
Abdul Malik, 18, an ITI student who lives in Azhikode near Nedumangad is a complainant in this case.
The four defendants allegedly kidnapped Malik on Wednesday around 7 in the morning of the poultry shop where he worked part-time.
They forcibly took him into their car and attacked him until the car reached the city of Nedumangad.
The defendant then left teenagers in the city and fled when they realized that Malik’s scream was attracting the attention of people on the road.
Police said that Kidnapping and Malik’s attack was the wrong case of identity.
Among the defendants, Sulfi and Suneer have a furniture store in Azhikode.
A few days ago, there was a battle in their shop where their store was damaged by a group of men.
The attackers also damaged their emergency watermelon shop.
They suspected that Abdul Malik was involved in the battle battle and therefore wanted revenge.
They were arrested by a police team led by Nedumangad Station officers Inspector Santhosh Kumar and the Sunil Gopi Sub Inspector.
