Gurgaon: Four people, including a woman, was arrested for creating a drunk commotion on the road in the Sikanderpur area on DLF-1 and attacking the police after being asked to disperse, police said.
Four who allegedly also tore the police uniform.
They are produced in court that sends it in court custody.
The police said they received a late night’s call on Sunday night about a group of people who had blocked traffic on Jalan Sikanderpur.
They are all drunk and dancing in the middle of the road, misusing commuters and not letting the vehicle cross, leading to situations such as traffic jams.
A team from the DLF-1 police station immediately rushed to the area and urged the defendant to immediately clear the road.
But the problem maker allegedly began to abuse the police and one of them even won the police police collar and slapped him.
“When some police tried to forcibly remove it from the road, they allegedly entered the fight and tear the uniform of a police officer.
They created a disturbance and were not ready to clear the road even after police intervention,” said Sho Naresh Kumar.
The defendant has been identified as the Yimchunger Sekitot, IKELUNGBE, Rasamyi Pame and Rimna Hunle Newme.
While three of them came from Manipur, others came from Nagaland.
One of them is a music teacher while the other two work in a hotel and Newme run the online beauty living room.
A pine was submitted to the police station under the IPC 186 section (preventing public servants in the disposal of public functions), 353 (violence or criminal to obstruct public servants) 332 (voluntarily cause wounds to prevent public servants from their duties), 34 (general intentions) and 506 (criminal intimidation) against them.
“They were all captured and produced in court on Monday who sent them to court detention,” Sho said.
