Letter: Four workers were arrested from Chanvai village in Valsad on Wednesday as alleged their involvement in the kidnapping of Doctor Ayurveda Janak Vairagi in September 2020.

The defendant has been running for the past year.
Police arrested Dipesh Patel, Rohan Patel, Kalpesh Patel and Lalit Patel.
The police said that the defendant wanted to make money quickly and got the idea to kidnap from the television and film series.
Police recover two cars and other valuables from the defendant worth Rs 3.53 Lakh.
“One was accused of going to buy medicines from Vairagi a few days before kidnapping.
He heard a man who told Vairagi, about the former having a full cupboard.
It was actually a joke, but the defendant considered it right,” said J and Goswami, Police Inspector, Branch of local crime, Valsad.
Vairagi was released in the forest area the following day after kidnapping on September 23, 2020.
His clothes were torn apart to prevent him from escaping.
