Coimbatore: Four men have been captured with almost 9kg marijuana (marijuana) for sales in two separate incidents reported near the cherryism of Nagar and in Saravanampatti-Thudiangur Road.
In one of the incidents, two men were arrested for having 3kg and 750g marijuana (marijuana) for sales at Colony Phase-II teachers near Chanma Nagar on Friday.
The official source said the Peellamedu Police Sub-Inspector (Law & Order) of Rajkumar and the team was spinning on Friday when they found Manikandan, aka Poosari Mani, 23, from Sowripalakaam and G Balamurti Krishnan, 25, from Masqualipalayam with marijuana.
They arrested both of them and seized contraband.
The defendant was revived in court detention.
In another incident, the Saravanampatti police arrested P Arjun 23 years, from Boyar Street in Saanallur, and R Karthik aged 25 years, from Uppilipalayam, because it had 5kg marijuana for sales near private engineering colleges at the Saravanampatti-Thudiangur road on Friday.
The official source said both were arrested by the Saravanampatti police sub-inspector, K Chellanmani and the team, who circled.
“They have been returned in the custody of the judiciary.
One more marijuana Peddler – Poovendran, residents of Selvapuram – are in runaway and we tried to track his whereabouts,” said the source.
