Kochi: The Kerala High Court on Friday provided anticipatory guarantee to two former Intelligence Bureau (IB) officers and two former police officers in the case of the ISRO framework in the 1994 espionage case IB RB Sreekumar, former IB officer PS Jayaprakash, and former police officer S Vijayan and Thampi S Durgadutt.
Officers seek anticipatory assurance from the High Court after the CBI began investigating certain frameworks on the direction issued by the Supreme Court after considering the report of the former Supreme Court Judge DK Jain.
The report called for an investigation into a greater conspiracy in making the espionage case against Nambi Narayanan, which was a scientist in ISRO and was in the team of developing cryogenic technology.
The CBI, who has taken the probe in the espionage of the state police, has submitted a report before the special court that issued scientists.
He then moved the High Court and then the APEX court was looking for action against officers involving him.
