France Back: Borders reopen American tourists, others

Paris: After “a very bad year,” Paris Marc Vernhet’s tour operator saw light rays with the return of tourists promised from the United States and elsewhere in France on Wednesday if they have been vaccinated against Coronavirus.
His body, 2CVParistour.com, began to get a booking again from Americans because sightseeing tourism was done in a unique bug-eyed citroen car.
June is still very slim, but July looks better, Vernhet said when France took the first step towards rebuilding his position as the main goal for foreign tourists.
Before the pandemic, Vernhet runs three or four tours of the capital per day.
The work dried up when France was locked, and he only did around three tours per week now, almost exclusively for French visitors.
Vernhet praised the border of the French border for vaccinated tourists as “good news” but said it would take a few more weeks to take business and that “I did not expect to work properly before mid-July.” “We’ve been waiting for this for months and months,” he said.
To be permitted for tourism, America and other visitors from most countries outside Europe need to show that they have been fully inspired by the coronavirus with vaccines approved by the European Union Drug Agency.
French acceptance is only a vaccine Pfizer, Modern, Astrazeneca and Johnson & Johnson (Janssen) means tourism not returning from the market that benefits China and Russia, who use vaccines that are not approved by the European Medicine Agency.
Without one of the four vaccines, most non-EU visitors still need to prove that they have strong reasons to visit France and must be quarantined on arrival.
But European visitors and those from a handful of low-risk countries are welcomed again with open arms, even if they are not vaccinated.
“Green” countries called These include Japan, South Korea and Singapore, Australia and New Zealand, Lebanon and Israel.
All countries of EU and Iceland, Norway and Switzerland are also “green.” Vaccinated tourists from these countries can be Waltz right; Unvaccination requires a recent negative test.
“Treat yourself, backup now,” French tourism minister Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne said in a video message Wednesday.
“We want to hear Dutch, German, English, Italian, Spanish spoken everywhere in this country,” he said.
“We missed him.
We miss you.” In addition to reopening tourists, France from Wednesday also allows restaurants and cafes to continue service in the room and for people to exercise in the gyms, the latest reopening steps because vaccination makes headway after 110,000 deaths related to Covid.
For 16 countries considered a high risk, because they fought against Coronavirus waves and worrying variants, France remained out of limits as a tourist destination, even for vaccinated travelers.
“Red” countries called this include India and some neighbors, Brazil and several neighbors, and Chile, Bahrain, South Africa and Turkey.
Prospective tourists from what is called the “Orange” country, which includes most of the world outside Europe, including the United States and the United Kingdom, still needing negative PCRs or recent antigen tests and evidence of vaccination.
If it is not vaccinated, or inoculated by Jab that is not approved in Europe, prospective visitors from orange countries are not allowed to enter France unless they have convincing professionals or other reasons.
Sightseeing isn’t one of them.
Fifteen months after he last took American tourists on one of the tours, guides and blogger guide Parisnya Richard Nahem now has two bookings for July.
“People definitely want to return,” said the former Yorker New York, who lives in the capital since 2005.
