CARBIS BAY: French President Emmanuel Macron on Saturday told Prime Minister Boris Johnson that Britain needs to uphold the Brexit deal it signed, as London and Brussels row about new trade rules in Northern Ireland.
A source in Macron’s office told reporters the president explained to Johnson in no uncertain terms that Britain should “keep its word” to Europe and abide by the Brexit divorce deal framework.
