Kanpur: A man who thinned the city people with their poor work through the Chit-Fund company was arrested by the Crime Branch Police on Tuesday.
“Sanjiv Mishra, one of the key people from the Allied DPEER Corporation Ltd, was arrested from Lucknow on Tuesday for deceiving people to the tone around Rs 4 Crore,” said DCP Crime Salman Taj Patil.
“The defendant was resident of Gorakhpur,” said Patil and added, “Some of the city people have submitted a complaint to the Colonelanj police who alleged that the company who had established his office in the Chunniganj area, had embezzled around Hospital 4 Crore they had deposited.

“According to complaints, the company has convinced investors to provide a cheaper land land or doubling their money in six months.

Details about the assets and bank accounts from the defendant were being collected, police said and added that several teams were formed to accuse others accused of this case.
