Kolhapur: Travelers at Kolhapur Airport will be screened for cancer for free if they want to undergo an examination.
The Authority of Kolhapur Airport, in collaboration with the Kolhapur Cancer Center, the Institute run by oncologists from the city, will soon launch the initiative.

Kolhapur Airport Director Kamal Kataria told TII, “The passengers who arrive at the airport can take voluntary cancer detection tests and they will not coercive them.

Kataria said that local representatives would also be involved in launching initiatives to ensure the benefits of maximum passengers.
