Thiruvananthapuram: The filling station installed under a smart city project is now open to the public.
This facility will be free for a limited period.

From January 1, 2022, the cost of charging at the parking charging station is a 10per RS unit.
Smart City Thiruvananthapuram Ltd (SCTL) has successfully completed the installation of two AC001 Stage Bharat chargers in Gandhi Park.
This charger has managed to run for the past year and exclusively used by 30 beneficiaries (chosen from Trivandrum Municipal Corporation) which is given electrical authoric to promote electrical mobility.
Moving to the opening station open to the public is part of the SCTL campaign to promote clean and green energy through e-mobility.
EV chargers in Gandhi Park are equipped with provisions to collect six vehicles simultaneously.
The charger is installed with a 15A socket plug so that any vehicle with the Top 15A plug will be able to top-up from the charger.
Application-based payment system, which is integrated into the command command and integrated control (ICCCC) that is being built in the corporate premise, is one of the important features of the system.
