Mumbai: Commissioner of BMC Iqbal Singh Chahal in a letter sent to the head of Secretary Maharashtra on Tuesday has searched the exception of the RT-PCR test for domestic passengers who are fully vaccinated.
In accordance with current direction, every passenger who arrives in the state with any transportation mode is needed to bring a negative RT-PCR test that is done 48 hours before starting the journey.
Chahal, however, in his letter said that vaccination drives throughout the country have begun and many citizens who are fully vaccinated, asking to release conditions in connection with carrying negative RT-PCR test reports.
“There are many passengers traveling to Delhi or other business places in the morning and they are back on the same day at night or the next morning, in this case do RT-PCR tests and get reports.

Remembering above , domestic passengers who are fully vaccinated can be released from carrying a negative RT RT test report while arriving in the city of Mumbai, “Chahal said in the letter.
After the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic and due to the increasing number of covid patients with a positive case of the state government on May 12 this year imposed domestic passenger restrictions that arrived in the state.
However, this restriction was mainly forced on passengers who arrived from Gujarat, Goa, Delhi, Rajasthan, and Kerala, due to the increasing number of cases, it was decided to impose restrictions on all passengers to Mumbai from any part of the country.
