Bengaluru: The freezing of bank accounts will affect the right to live under Article 21, Karnataka HC has observed.
Justice Mohammed Nawaz made a temporary observation allowing the petition to be submitted by Narayana Yadav, a businessman based in Delhi, and directed the police to define his account.
Defreezing submissions to entrepreneurs who obey their commitment to provide a bank guarantee for RS 3.7 lakh.
Freezing is based on complaints from Ludra Mary who accused the loss of Rs 3.7 lakh in the Lottery Scam and Yadav account received Rs 99,999 from it.
Yadav has challenged the notification issued by the police to the Axis Bank.
In his petition, Yadav claimed he was not involved.
