PARIS: France’s authorities stated that numerous emergency call centers for medical care, police and firefighters throughout the nation were not able to be reached on Wednesday evening because of a telecom care issue.
Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin reported that some crisis call centers”are having trouble receiving calls because of a technical difficulty in the operator”.

Health Minister Olivier Veran explained the breakdown had been”clearly because of maintenance issue” by French telecoms group Orange.
