In fact, they are happy with bird lovers here who rejoice that Bustar Macqueen has begun to flock in large numbers in the past five years.
A study conducted by an ornithologist revealed that between 2016 and 2020, the bird was seen 140 times in the state.
“This is the highest number of bird sightings in Gujarat in the last two decades.
Between 2011 and 2015, Bustars MacQueen looks only 26 times in various parts of the country.
There are two reasons behind the big Spurt in the appearance.
One of them is that there is a surge in the number of birds flying.
To the state and the other is that Gujarat offers them an ideal environment, “said Devratsinh Mori, who told TII.
“Also, the number of bird observers who record their sightings have also risen in recent years.
So, most of the sightings of Bustard are now recorded and therefore figures have risen.
This is encouraging news for bird lovers in the state.

Most Macqueen Bustard flew in Gujarat from Pakistan where they breed in several parts.
They arrived in winter and flew in March before the summer began.
The last census of the birds was carried out by returning in 2007 by the bird conservation community.
“After that, no census of birds that have occurred,” Mori said.
Mori said that these birds were previously seen only in the larger Rann Kikch and Rann Kutch.
“But now they are seen even in Jamnagar, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, Amreli, Porbandar, Patan and near Dwarka.
Although the number of sightings in these districts is small, it is important because the bird explores the area in Gujarat besides Kutch,” he said.
