New Delhi: For the seventh day in a row, the case of fresh covid reported from the entire country remained under 40,000.
That day saw 30,359 fresh cases and 373 deaths.
Weekly analysis of the average seven days of case cases to dispose of daily fluctuations, show that with four exceptions, all states and UT have decreased in the case.
There are 14 states where on average above 100 on Wednesday.
Except for TN, West Bengal, Mizoram and J & K, the average decreases for the remaining 10 states.
Kerala, which accounts for most cases of India, has seen the steepest fall in this average.
On September 8, the average was 27,637 which fell to 20,079 on Wednesday.
In Maharashtra, the average dipped in 3,589 on Wednesday compared to 4,077 last Wednesday
