Fresh covid kasing continues to decline in Tamil Nadu

Chennai: Tamil Nadu continues to report a decline in fresh Covid-19 cases, with a country that records 1,808 infections on Sundays, including those who returned from New Delhi, pushing counting to 25,48,497.
The state has seen a steady decline in cases since July 20 when recorded 1,904 cases.
On Saturday, 1,819 people tested positive viruses.
The number of deaths was installed up to 33,911 with 22 more people who surrendered to the virus in the last 24 hours.
The recovery continued to exceed the number of new cases with 2,447 people out, collected to 24.91,222 left 23,364 active cases, said the Bulletin Health Department.
A total of 34 districts reported a new infection in two digits, while there were no new deaths in 27 districts.
Chennai added 126 new infections, taking a total amount to 5.37.124 while the toll was installed to 8,310 in state capital, including three deaths in the last 24 hours.
Among the districts, Coimbatore reported a maximum of 169 cases, while the retailer had at least six.
As many as 1,44,219 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, pushing the cumulative number of specimens checked up to 3.65.34,735 to date.
A 35-year-old woman is the only one of the 22 people who died that did not have co morbidity, said Bulletin.
