Nagpur: In new developments, the Special Investigation Team (Sitting) Nagpur rural police has registered a violation relating to the strip show, at the Mouda police station on Monday.
Newly registered violations after that emerged that the strip showed along the line held in Brahmni Village, Umred, held in Bhugaon in Nagpur Rural.
Sitting, under police officers Sub-Division Pooja Gaikwad, presented 11 accused before the court on Monday.
Apart from the three organizers of Brahmni village and key members of the Alex Dance Group, the other seven were sent to detention.
Sitting had rounded up three women who danced in the Alex Dance Group show on Sunday.
Two women were taken as witnesses in this case while someone was used as a rough accusation but was not arrested following a registered violation.
“In the latter case, the police also received a video clip, after the FIR was registered.
We tried to find out where the group had appeared,” he said.
It learns that ‘Shankarpat’ or Bullock Race is held in Bhugaon, follows where the dance performances are held under the pretext of cultural night.
The source said the villagers claimed they had enjoyed ‘Lavani’ dance and not a strip show.
The police had previously registered a violation for the Bullock Race.
