New Delhi: emphasizes the need to preserve and promote Hindi and all other regional Indian languages ​​at the same time, the Minister of Homeland Amit Shah on Tuesday said Hindi is a “friend” and not other regional language competitors.
“Hindi must be promoted in co-existence in other regional languages,” Shah said in a speech at the Hindi Dianwas celebration here.
He said India had to preserve its local language for several generations to come by making them flexible, functional and useful for all.
Shah suggested that the same as September 14 was an annual opportunity to reassess and review efforts to promote Hindi, similar and simultaneous exercises must be done to promote all local languages.
He underlined the role of ‘Swabhasha’, along with ‘Swadeshi’ and ‘Swaraj’, in the struggle of freedom, and said this would be one of the main themes of the celebration ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ throughout the year to mark the 75th anniversary of independence.
He begged parents and elders to talk to young people in their mother tongue, whatever became a medium of teaching in their school, to keep them connected with their roots and familiar with their culture, tradition and history.
Minister of Home Affairs, who has ensured that Hindi has pride in places in terms of teaching media and files related to their own services, said Hindi has received encouragement with PM Narendra Modi which shows all international fora in Hindi, helping all Indians overcome ‘doubts’ Anything in talking ‘Rajbhasha’.
Shah also said that the constant pm outreach to all stakeholders in Hindi during a pandemic ensured that the nation could install a unified war against Covid-19.
“During this time, there were around 35 PM interactions with CMS, Governors, Trade Bangs and addresses to the nation, all in Hindi.
This ensures that the message seeps into the grassroots.”
