Nagpur: Disputes with friends above RS10 caused the murder of a 22-year-old man whose body was thrown out in a ditch digging in the forest for the work of laying the cable.
The victim, Gyana Shende, fainted to death in Mangalwaripeth Slum in Umred in Nagpur Regency in 5.
The police suspect the involvement of his two friends, Surjit Mandle (22) and Sukdu Kartule (22) but have no clue to zero.
Umred police from the Nagpur countryside solved the case on Friday after getting a tip-off of small patches painted at the Mandle’s residence.
Police Supervisors (SP) Rakesh Ola said that the cardula and Mandel spilled beans during interrogation and claimed to paint the wall to cover blood stains that stretched on the wall during murder.
They were arrested on Fridays and murder cases were registered against them.
The police said that Shende, Mandle and Kartule were small thieves.
The trio has collected RS160 after selling some stolen scrap.
Kartule and Shende took each RS50 as their part while Mandle got RS60.
This triggered a snowy dispute into a fight after consuming liquor at the Mandle’s house.
Mandle then crashed into Shende with an iron rod, which led to the last death, police said.
Senior Inspector of Yeshwant Solse, who investigated the case under SP Rakesh Ola and ADDL SP Rahul Maknikar, said that Mandle and Kartule then packed the body with a sack and took it to the Armrai forest by bicycle.
“There they hit the body in a ditch digging by several utility agents and covered them with mud,” said Solse.Police said that Shende had left home on September 5 without telling the family where he left.
“When he did not return, Shendes filed a missing complaint on September 6.
Shende did not have a cellphone and so there were no questions about tracking the location,” Solse said.
The senior inspector said they had to depend on manual intelligence, the last visible theory and such technique.
“We asked the mandel and karule but the breakthrough came when one of our informants told us about the patches painted at Mandle’s house,” said Solse.Sp Ola together with SDPO Bhimrao Tele and Maknikar visited a place in the Amrai forest where.
“The body was excavated before the sub-division judge,” Ola said.
