Jaipur: Jaipur Airport has been ranked second from 13 airports that reached between 20-50 lakh passengers per year.
Goa airport has been ranked.
Rankings conducted by the International Council Airport (ACI) based on 33 parameters for the first quarter of this year since January-March 2021.
The ACI World has revealed the quality of the quality of the airport service this year who highlight the best airports in the world that are rated by their customers.
Pandemic Covid-19 has a dramatic impact on global passenger traffic in 2020 and it changes customer perceptions and expectations from the airport experience.
Apart from the challenges posed by Pandemi, the airport managed to collect AsQ surveys from their customers to rank.
Jaipur was followed by Calicut, Guwahati and Kolkata.
A total of 22 airports are considered to rank, but the nine airports data are not taken due to certain conditions.
“In the last survey, Jaipur Airport was ranked 14th place because of the construction that was being carried out here and now we have got better facilities, the ranking has also improved.
Apart from a more departing and arrival hall, the luggage conveyor belt was also added .
In addition, the parking situation is better with space separation for passengers who rise and arrive.
The ranking is carried out every quarter and the total points are taken to give an annual place, “said an airport official.
There are 33 parameters where the airport is surveyed.
These include land transportation to / from the airport, parking facilities, luggage / trolley train availability, waiting time in check-in queues, flight information screens, restaurants, toilet cleanliness, waiting area and staff behavior, among others.
In 2017, Jaipur has occupied the same solution.
To handle space constraints, various infrastructure development projects began at the airport.
