Jaipur: Rajasthan has contributed more than 6% to vaccinations given throughout the country that helped achieve a milestone of a million doses.
However, for the past few days, Covid vaccination has slowed because of the festive and cutting season.
The Ministry of Health now takes steps to improve drive vaccination.
Of the total 6.11 crore doses given, 3.16 crore given to men and 2.95 crore doses given to women.
The beneficiaries that receive covishield are 5.39 crores, while 71.5 doses of Lakh Covaxin have been given in the state.
The remaining doses received are sputnik vaccines.
Over the past few days, drive covid vaccination in the state has slowed down.
However, the state government takes steps to improve vaccination drives now.
Taking this problem, the Chairman of the Minister of Ashok Gehlot, recently, through video conferencing, directed the medical department officer to speed up the drive.
On this problem, Health Minister Raghu Sharma said that vaccination drives will be given further steps to sensen inoculation percent of targeted groups.
Sharma said that Rajasthan was one of the leading countries in Covid vaccination and Corona management.
“Our efforts will be in the direction of reaching the vaccination target in a way that is bound to time and at a fast speed so we can easily discuss targeted groups,” he added.
At the average, daily vaccination is being carried out in more than 4,500 vaccination centers, which include rural and urban areas.
