From this weekend, Sunday is a pleasant day in Charminar

Hyderabad: With Sunday-Funay’s free traffic on the Bund Tank received an extraordinary response from citizens, the authorities have decided to have a different version of it, ‘Ek Shaam Charminar to Naam’, at a historic monument from this week ( October 17).

The arrangement for a weekend event in the old city was guarded by police commissioner, Anjani Kumar, who was also present with Hyderabad Mla, Ahmed Balala, to examine the area.
Arvind Kumar had last week tweeted that Maud Minister KT Rama Rao and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisa had suggested that the concept of Sunday Funay on the Bund Tank will be replicated in Charminar too.
With inspection on Thursday, the concept seems to be resolved and will be launched on October 17.
The program planned for Sunday was called ‘Ek Shaam Charminar to Naam’.
In September, KT Rama Rao has launched a Sunday-Funay event at Tank Bund, which aims to become a recreational event for the Hyderabad community with a number of activities ranging from laser shows, fireworks, music, art, and handicrafts.
