Washington: Foreign Secretary Harsh Vardhan Shringla has met with Biden Top Administrative Officials, including the Secretary of the State Antony Blinken and Deputy Secretary Wendy Sherman, and held substantive discussions with them on strategic bilateral bonds and regional and global problems such as the current situation in Afghanistan.

This was the first high-level discussion between officials from the two countries after withdrawing American troops from Afghanistan on August 31.
Shringla, who arrived in the US capital on Wednesday from New York, met Blinken on Thursday at a misty lower headquarters on Thursday Department of State.

Shringla and Sherman discussed various kinds of shared priorities, including sustainable coordination in Afghanistan, strengthening Indo-Pacific cooperation through Quad, handling the climate crisis and pandemic Covid-19, and preparation for future dialogue, such as 2 + 2 ministers.

Quad is a grouping of the United States, India, Australia and Japan.
The four countries have a form given to the old proposal delaying to set “Quad” or a rectangular coalition to fight China’s aggressive behavior in the Indo-Pacific region.
Both diplomats agreed to keep coordinating closely on shared goals and priorities to deepen the US-Indian partnership, said prices in the meeting reading.
